Letterbox brownies, posted UK-wide

Brownies are the bake the post was invented for: dense, fudgy, happy in a box, and better on day two than most things are on day one. Six kinds, hand-cut, posted anywhere in the UK.

The menu

What goes in the box

Pick one kind or mix them. A box of six different squares is the most-requested version.

Six kinds

  • Plain brownies

Fudgy in the middle, papery on top.

  • Double chocolate brownies

The plain brownie with chocolate chunks folded through the batter.

  • Triple chocolate brownies

Dark, milk and white chocolate, all in the same square.

  • Blondies

The brownie's buttery cousin, chewy and vanilla-led.

  • White chocolate blondies

Blondies with white chocolate melting into them as they bake.

  • Caramel and sea salt brownies

Caramel rippled through, with sea salt over the top.

£18.00 the box, postage included, anywhere in the UK.

Fudgy all the way through

There are two kinds of brownie in the world and only one of them is worth posting. Mine are the fudgy sort: dense in the middle, with the thin papery top that comes from beating the eggs and sugar properly, not from an ingredient. Real butter, real chocolate. The blondies are the same idea with the chocolate swapped for brown sugar and vanilla, and they are chewier for it.

Hand-cut, so they are honest squares

Every tray is cut by hand, so the squares come out generous and slightly irregular. The caramel and sea salt one has the caramel rippled through the batter, so it does not slide off in the box, and the salt goes on at the end where you can taste it.

Getting them to the door

Brownies are packed flat in a single layer in a slim box designed around a standard UK letterbox, and posted like a large letter, so no one waits in for a courier. Full ingredient and allergen label in every box, with a best-before date on it.

What is on the label

Every box carries a full ingredient and allergen label to UK requirements, with a best-before date on it, so you know exactly what you are eating and when to eat it by.

The other letterbox gifts

Letterbox brownies, answered

What brownies do you post?

Six: plain, double chocolate, triple chocolate, blondies, white chocolate blondies, and caramel and sea salt. They are hand-cut and packed flat in a letterbox-sized box.

Can I have a mixed brownie box?

Yes, and it is the most popular way to order. Say which kinds you want when you order and the box goes out that way.

Do the brownies contain nuts?

No nuts go into the brownie recipes themselves. Everything is baked in a home kitchen where all fourteen major allergens are present, including nuts, so if the allergy is severe tell me before you order and I'll be straight with you.

Boxes are baked to order in Peterborough and posted anywhere in the UK. If you are local and would rather collect, that is the pastries and pies side of the kitchen.
