£18.00 for the box of six, which goes by Royal Mail as a large letter straight through the door, or £32.00 for the dozen, which is heavier than the large-letter format allows and travels as a Royal Mail parcel, still anywhere in the UK, with the postage priced at checkout. Add a message at the checkout and it is hand-written onto a card in the box, with never an invoice inside a gift.

Fudgy all the way through
There are two kinds of brownie in the world and only one of them is worth posting. Mine are the fudgy sort: dense in the middle, with the thin papery top that comes from beating the eggs and sugar properly, not from an ingredient. Real butter, real chocolate. The blondies are the same idea with the chocolate swapped for brown sugar and vanilla, and they are chewier for it.
Hand-cut, so they are honest squares
Every tray is cut by hand, so the squares come out generous and slightly irregular. The caramel and sea salt one has the caramel rippled through the batter, so it does not slide off in the box, and the salt goes on at the end where you can taste it.

What brownies do you post?
Six: plain, double chocolate, triple chocolate, blondies, white chocolate blondies, and caramel and sea salt. They are hand-cut and packed flat in a letterbox-sized box.
Can I have a mixed brownie box?
Yes, and it is the most popular way to order. Pick two kinds and the box goes out half and half, whether it is the box of six or the box of twelve.
Do the brownies contain nuts?
No nuts go into the brownie recipes themselves. Everything is baked in a home kitchen where all fourteen major allergens are present, including nuts, so if the allergy is severe tell me before you order and I'll be straight with you.
Can I get letterbox brownies delivered next day?
Yes, on a day you book. Choose DPD next day at checkout and any Tuesday to Friday at least three days ahead: I bake for that date and hand the box to DPD the day before, and its next-day service carries it for your chosen day, to mainland UK. Royal Mail 1st Class is the cheaper choice for a box that fits the letterbox.
Can letterbox brownies be delivered the same day?
No. Everything is baked to order for the day it travels, so there is no shelf of ready boxes to send the moment you order. The soonest is a booked day from three days ahead, by DPD next day to mainland UK or Royal Mail 1st Class anywhere in the UK.
How long do letterbox brownies last?
At their best within five days of arriving, and the best-before date on the label is the one to follow. Keep the box closed, or move them to an airtight tin, somewhere cool and dry; they do not need the fridge.
Can I send these to several people, or order for a company?
Yes. The checkout takes one address per order, so for a few people place an order each, each with its own handwritten card. For a longer list or a company thank you, email me the addresses and what you would like in each, and I will price the whole run at once. For staff birthdays, the Birthday Book books the whole year in one payment.
