Party grazing tables, so the host gets a party too

The trouble with hosting a party is that somebody has to keep the food coming, and it is usually the person the party is for. A party grazing table fixes that: one long spread of cakes, brownies, cookies and party bakes that looks after itself while everyone helps themselves, built on site by me so all you did was point at the table. Birthday party grazing tables are what I am asked for most, and the same table suits an anniversary, a christening or any excuse for a room full of people.

How much notice: Three to four weeks is comfortable. Ask about sooner, some weeks have room.

Built around your party

Colours matched to the theme, a cake as the centrepiece if you want one to cut, and the rest arranged around it: cupcakes, brownie squares, cookies, fruit, and savoury bakes for the grown-ups hovering near the sausage rolls. Birthday parties are the ones this table was made for, and children's parties get things small hands can take without a plate.

The practical bit

I need a table and about an hour before the guests arrive. Everything is labelled with ingredients and allergens, which matters twice over at a children's party. When the party ends, the boxes the bakes came in work just as well for sending leftovers home with people.

What it costs

Priced on the headcount and what goes on the table, quoted in writing before you commit to anything. Start with the form below and the date, and I will come back with what suits the numbers.

Three to four weeks, and it needs a table and a spot to build on.

Allergies matter more than anything else here, so tell me about them now rather than later. My kitchen handles all fourteen regulated allergens.

I reply to everything, usually within a day. Sending this does not hold the date; the booking deposit does, and I will only ask for one once we have agreed what I am making and what it costs.
